Formed in 2000 by a small group of church-planting families, City Church began by meeting in an unused church building in Kansas City, Kansas. Presently, City Church is a vibrant Evangelical Covenant congregation ministering in Kansas City, Missouri in the Westport area in the historic First Evangelical Covenant building. With exciting ministry to urban children and youth, City Church is unlike many churches in Kansas City. With its ethnic and socio-economic diversity, there is always a sense that something unique is going on at City Church. Come and join us for Sunday worship at 10 am. Vacation Bible School is Here!
There is still time to participate in Vacation Bible School. The Children's Ministry Leaders have prepared for power packed lessons and fun. This year's theme: "Power Lab - Discovering Jesus' Miraculous Power".
VBS is every Sunday in August (August 3, 10, 17, 24 & 31). Contact the Administrative Office for additional details.
"Prayer Crusade"
Pastor Philbert Johnson, of Jamaica, is leading City Church in a prayer crusade this week. Come lay your all on the alter, at the feet of Jesus.
Prayer begins at 7:00 pm from Monday, August 18 - Friday, August 22.

Prayer and Fasting
Dr. Robert Johnson, Pastor at City Church, is responding to the call of prayer and fasting. Each Tuesday from 6:00 am through 6:00 pm beginning August 26 through September 30 are the requested fast times.
A prayer service will be each Tuesday evening during that period of time beginning at 7:00 pm. This is a united effort to seek God for the future direction of City Church and its Outreach Ministries.
